The robot that alerts you to your bad breath

If you are one of those people who anguish you who will say, or did everything and not even chewing gum remove your bad breath, scientists created two allies for you: two models of robot, one with the shape of a woman’s head and another one of a dog, to warn in cases of bad smell of feet and breath.

When activated, both robots are able to recognize and catalog the smell of breath and feet with a sensor, and react in an exaggerated manner with the intention that the user take measures to solve it.

The Kaori humanoid, with brown hair and blue eyes, analyzes and quantifies the components in the breath of the users, evaluating the smell on a scale of four levels.

Once the user takes the breath, catalogs it and issues an ironic response depending on the results.

Thus, Kaori will vary his phrase from the positive “It smells like citrus”, to others getting worse like “You have bad breath”, “I cannot stand it” or the extreme, “Emergency!”.

The Shun taro dog recognizes the bad smell of feet and although it does not speak like the humanoid, shakes its head if the smell is normal, barks and growls if it is bad and faints in the case of a very strong smell.

Set out to create the two robots after his relatives continually complained about his bad breath and the smell of his feet, so he decided to meet with mechanical engineer to complete the project.

To develop the computer program capable of recognizing and cataloging odors, used foods with strong odors, such as garlic or fermented vegetables, and even used socks for days, the newspaper said.

Although at the moment they are not for sale, the company has already embarked on its new project, a robot whose nose grows like that of the popular character Pinocchio and who is able to detect a lie after analyzing the response of the brain.
